Draft — not yet in force
This policy has not been reviewed by legal counsel.
We wrote this draft ourselves so the structure is ready for a lawyer to work on. It is not legal advice, it is not binding on you or on us, and the wording will change once a Bangladeshi lawyer has reviewed it. Until then, if you need to know exactly where you stand, ask us and we will tell you straight.
Effective date: to be set when this policy is approved. This draft is not in force.
Hosting refunds are mostly straightforward. Domains are the exception, and the reason is worth understanding before you buy one.
Some business apps come with a free trial when you take them alongside a hosting plan. The trial length is shown on the app's card and on the pricing page, and it is the same figure you see in your cart at checkout.
During the trial you pay nothing for that app, and we tell you before it ends. There is no surprise charge with no warning.
Cancel during the trial and there is nothing to refund, because nothing was charged.
New shared hosting and email orders come with a money-back window. If the service is not what you expected, ask us within [to be confirmed: length of the money-back window] of the first payment and we will refund it.
The window applies to a first order rather than to every renewal. If a renewal catches you by surprise, message us anyway — we would rather sort it out than argue about it.
If you cancel mid-cycle, the service keeps running to the end of the period you already paid for, and we do not bill you again after that.
VPS servers are set up by hand. We build the machine, install the stack and hand it over, and that work is done before you have used the server for a single day.
So a VPS order is refundable when we could not deliver a working server. If what we handed you does not do what the plan says it does, tell us and we will either fix it or refund it.
Extra configuration work you asked for is charged for the work itself and is not refundable once the work is done.
Once a domain is registered, it is registered. We pay the registry for the full term the moment the order goes through, and that payment cannot be reversed — not by us, not by anyone. The same applies to renewals and transfers.
So check the spelling before you confirm. A typo in a domain name is the one mistake on this site that costs real money and cannot be undone.
If a registration fails and the name is never issued, you get every taka of it back.
Domain registrations, renewals and transfers, for the reason above.
Accounts we closed for abuse or a serious breach of the terms of service.
Migration, setup or configuration work that has already been carried out.
Time you have already used. Where we agree to refund the remainder of a cycle, we refund the unused part of it, not the whole cycle.
Message us on WhatsApp or email support — whichever channel you already use. Tell us which service it is about, the invoice number if you have it to hand, and what went wrong. There is no form to fill in.
You do not have to justify yourself at length. "It is not what I needed" is a complete answer inside the money-back window.
We approve the refund, or come back with one question, within [to be confirmed] working days.
Once approved, the money goes back the way it came: bKash to bKash, Nagad to Nagad, card to card. Bank and gateway timings are outside our control, and card refunds in particular can take a few days to show up on a statement.
If a refund to the original method turns out to be impossible, we will agree an alternative with you rather than leaving it unresolved.
We will update this page as the service changes, and the date at the top shows which version is in force.
The version that applies to an order is the one that was published when you placed it.
Refund questions go to the same place as everything else: the support channels listed on our support page, in Bangla or English.
