How long until my VPS is ready?

VPS setup completed within 2–4 hours. We build each server by hand, so a person reads your order, provisions the machine, installs your operating system and emails the root credentials. Nothing is provisioned instantly, and nothing is left half-finished.

Is the VPS managed or unmanaged?

Unmanaged. You get root, the OS you chose and the network; updates, firewall, backups and any control panel are yours to run. If you want a server someone else looks after, take shared hosting instead — that one is fully managed.

What can I actually install on it?

Anything the operating system will run. It is your server with full root, so Docker, a custom Node or Python stack, a game server, your own mail setup — all fine, as long as it is legal and does not attack anyone.

Can I move to a bigger plan later?

Yes. Moving from one plan to the next means a larger machine, so we agree a window with you and move your data across during it. Ask support and we will plan it around your quiet hours.

Do you back up my VPS?

No — on an unmanaged server backups are yours to set up, and we would rather you knew that now than after a bad week. Ask support if you want a hand choosing where to send them.
